Boxes & Elephants is based on Ernest Hemmingway’s short story “Hills Like White Elephants”. Updated to reflect a contemporary perspective, the narrative addresses the aftermath of a one nightstand, and a couple wrestling with a life altering decision. The narrative unfolds from the Woman’s perspective, using vivid flashbacks to show their romantic journey leading up to the one-night stand, contrasting with the harsh black-and-white reality of the consequences the Woman will face.
